A single specialty physician owned cardiology group practice in Brownsville, TX is in need of an
Interventional Cardiologist
to replace a retired partner.
This offer requires the physician to reside in Brownsville, participate in call coverage, apply for privileges at the local hospitals, and participate in a
well-established patient base being seen at a newly constructed
state-of-the-art medical complex.
Out-patient services include: a cardiac nuclear lab, a certified echocardiography lab, a peripheral vascular lab, a heart failure clinic, an anticoagulation clinic,
a pacemaker/ICD clinic, and cardiac rehabilitation, education, and research opportunities.
The lucky candidate would work with four other cardiologists in a "real" group practice providing state of the art care with a team approach.
Brownsville is a city in a warm, subtropical climate with a population of approximately 220K. It is about 20 minutes drive from the popular resort city of
South Padre Island.
Brownsville is a three to four hour drive from San Antonio and five to six hour drive from Houston. There are beautiful residential communities, private elementary and high schools, and the college campus of the University of Texas at Brownsville.
There are over ten flights in and out of Brownsville everyday making it
easy to travel back and forth via a 1 hour flight to Houston and Dallas with connections to the rest of the world.
